Somesville Union Meeting House is a "Just Peace Church." That includes promotion of Racial Justice. In this pivotal time of voter suppression, police violence and brutality against persons of color, and the threat of White Supremacist terrorist groups, we stand with God's people for racial equality and justice.

The Somesville Church has been "Open & Affirming" for over 25 years. We celebrate that June is PRIDE month.  ONA Sunday for the UCC was June 27th. Our "Mission Moment" highlighted Maine OUT, and a special litany used in worship written by Rev. Ann Day, the former UCC Coordinator for LGBT Concerns (1987-2007).
